Summertime is so much fun but we don’t think about what it does to our skin. Did you know that increased sweating can lead to clogged pores? And don’t forget about those heavy sunscreens which can also lead to clogged pores.
I have a mask in my skincare routine that is making my skin look radiant while undoing all that summer fun.
Peach & Lily Pore Proof Perfecting Clay Mask is so great for so many things including: clogged pores, rough skin, dullness, whiteheads and dry patches. It basically resets your pores. This mask will leave your pores looking less visible in appearance.
I love the feel of this mask. It’s one of my favorite masks I have ever tried. It doesn’t dry out on my face. It feels fantastic. It has a calming and cooling affect. I actually feel calm and relaxed because my skin feels calm and relaxed.
Oh, and the results….oh my goodness! I don’t think my skin has ever felt softer and so hydrated. I am completely hooked.
SOME DEETS ON THE CLAY MASK:
(1) Kaolin Clay is a clay known to have natural detoxifying effects that pulls impurities from pores β And bonus points because it’s suitable even for sensitive skin.
(2) The mask contains Wild Cherry Extract and Strawberry Extract — both are potent sources of vitamin C that help defend skin against pollutants and calm skin. It also helps brighten the skin and contains anti-inflammatory properties. Fun Fact: Strawberries contain more Vitamin C than oranges.
(3) One ingredient in this mask for sensitive skin is Allantoin. It’s a plant extract that helps soothe and protect the skin. And I can tell you, my sensitive skin feels great. No reaction whatsoever to this mask.
(4) Licorice Root Extract: rich in skin-soothing properties, known to help soothe sensitized, reddened skin, as well as brightening properties.
A STAR INGREDIENT in this mask — Centella Asiatica Extract — you will find this ingredient in Korean skincare. It has calming and anti-aging properties. One of its four main components, madecassoside, is known for its skin-reviving, anti-inflammatory properties. I can see a difference in redness and irritation.
