It’s football season and we have been watching a lot of football. We were at the UofL football game on Saturday and the tailgate smells were incredible. It made me think of making meatballs for tonight’s game. My Barbecue Meatballs are a big hit and so easy to make.
Finger foods are the way to go when you are watching any game on TV. Using festive toothpicks makes it so fun and easy to eat.
I start cooking the meatballs in the oven and finish the cooking process in the crock pot. Make sure you use crock pot liners to save you from all that mess.
Meatball meat — I love using Italian sausage in my meatballs to create a nice combination of pork and beef.
